Regardless of the " number " or type of mycoplasma or any other item,

worry won't help you fight it - it will just slow you down. Not what

you'd call a beneficial emotion. I know it sounds trite but, maintaining

a positive outlook and a fighting spirit will bode well for you.

As to having multiple strains of mycoplasma, just a day or two ago there

was a post forwarded from Dr. Garth Nicholson wherein he stated it was

common find multi-strain infection and that regardless, the treatment

regimen was the same. he then went on to describe what he felt was the

best approach. If you want that particular post you can pull it up from

the ONElist archive for the support group list, search for Nicholson and

go from there.

Stay the course - three enemies just means they are three times easier

to hit! Or as Chesty Puller (USMC) said in Korea,

" So they've got us surrounded, good! Now we can fire

in any direction, those bastards won't get away this time! "

Hey Diane,

I had my amalgams removed, first testing for appropriate repalcement

materials. I relapsed for a few months and my brain fog did not lift. I was

feeling better actually before I had the amalgams removed and thought the

removal would realy help. Unfortunately, it didn't. I think it was just too

much toxicity at once. I did Vit C IV's after each session as well as 1-2x

month, and a couple of doses of DMPS. Still, did not fare well. Glad it

helped you .

Liz and ,

Thanks for the well wishes. You can't imagine how screwed up you get when

your pelvis is out of whack!! guess there is something to be said about that

song..the hig is connected to the back bone, ect!! i have to wonder, what

the heck would someone do if they did not go to a chiropractor? How would

it ever get fixed? thanks goodness I go!

I need to get back on this big time so soon...I am a procrastinator and that

is why this group is so good. It does give motivation and encouragement.

I want to get those measurements down. I am starting to look like I've

lost..at least 2 people noticed when I went back to visit the old place of

employment. I've been on an steady incline of weight this past 4 years. The

last 2, I was very unhappy with work and stuff and ate lots!!!

I am now at a lower point in weight than I have been for a year!! Still 20

more to go. I know I can do it if I could only stick to the diet and

breathe. I do somercize and I love it. But my loss is slow, due to my

indescretions of peanuts and popcorn. Both are not allowed. So one week I

do peanuts and one week popcorn. But I know with the breathing and exercise,

it should even things out and I should start loosing again!!

Thanks for your concerns and Karma, I am hoping by next year, I can be as

successful as you!! When I get out of school in June, I hope to do the

cleansing thing. Right now I don't want to deal with it!! But when summer

comes, and I am home most of the time, it won't be a problem!

Enjoy the weather. Summer is here, at least temporarily. And to think, I

was in Maine with cold, windy snow showers on Wed!! It is going to hit near

80 in CT today, Mon and Tuesday. I sure hope it goes back down to 70's, til

at least the end of school. One can only hope! It wil be hot and it will be

then that I will miss the controlled environment of business..My school is

NOT air condidtioned and my allergies will be bonkers . However, my room is

air conditioned because of the pc's..thank goodness I teach pc's!!

hi there everyone

I thought that I set this message from work but I guess that it did not

get there..

so here goes!

this is ghe biggest thing that happened to me since i began breathing...

I have always really strugged with intense sugar cravings...which seemed

to even get worse after menopause..althugh thanks to bf and LL I have

stayed right @ my goal weight now for 4 yrs it often has been a reall

fight not to od on sugar . The few times I gave up sugar entirely I

had a tremendous problem with overeatng to compensate for that missed

sugary snacks...I searched for answers...along the way I found many

wonerful new ideas that I incorporated into my lifestyle..dairy

free...no more white flour, yoga, /but still the cravings stayed and

most of the time could not be denied...

until this

Gymnema Sylvestre!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It is an herb that dminishes (in my case obliterates) sugar cravings and

also to hear my husband desbribe it helps with overeating in general...I

tried it as a last resort never thinking in a million yrs that it would

work...bu it did and right away and completely

It has worked for my husband too(a confirmed skeptic) proof positive to

me that it is just not i my head...and it is no longer in my mouth heh

heh

So now my diet is so much healthier (no more jjelly beans for lunch)

and I feel so much better!

You can get it at vitamin world or Vitamin shoppe

just had to share with my breathing friends

will gladly share any further info if anyone is interested

best breathing to all

Hi , if you had your 2nd RAI recently, it could be the initial increased hyper that often accompanies RAI. This is caused by thyroid hormone and stimulating thyroid antibodies being released from dying cells. And if you are spontaneouly moving into hypothyroidism, this may also cause thyroid cell destruction and the release of the hormones and antibodies. These can cause the hyper symptoms you mention. On the other hand, if you're being monitored by a TSH test alone, you could be hypothyroid and not properly treated. HypoT can cause palpitations and blood pressure problems. Be sure that your doc is testing your FT4 and FT3 levels. Take care, Elaine

Hi , and welcome.

I have Graves also. I had RAI so have no more thyroid -

hence 'no more symptoms of Graves'. And my need for replacement hormone

seems to indicate that the treatment was successful. However, my

heart has never slowed down and I still take Inderol to keep my heart rate

down below 100. I have been gradually reducing the meds, but my heart

rate is going up correspondingly. I am reducing it by only 5 mg a

day for a month at a time. My doctor has been monitoring me and I

have had Holter monitor and stress test. If you get any answers will

you please let me know, and I will let you know also.

Hello,

My name is Trish. I have a 9 year old Asperger's son that is currently attending the most wonderful Asperger's class in his private school. I want anyone interested who is in the San , Ca. area to know there are openings in this new class. I have been through all the horrible and exasperating ordeals with the schools and have finally found a teacher that loves Asperger and Autistic children. My son is thriving.

Tammy I - my birthday is the 15th. People don't usually forget it! They

go, " I have to get my taxes in the mail before it's too late - oh, yeah,

it's Phyllis' birthday, too " LOL It's my BD gift to myself this year,

too! I may end up there around the same time you do. I have to hear back

from Nina about available dates, check my calendar and run it by my boss.

Way Cool! Phyllis

M - would you believe Mastercard is running a contest to come up with

a " priceless " commercial? I'm not sure if the prize is cash, but wouldn't

that be cool to win the money to pay yourself back for the surgery?! Maybe

instead of the skin, you can show a picture of yourself looking " hot " in a

great outfit for the " priceless " part! Phyllis

Re: Re: I'm back!!!

Hee, Hee....we all have our stories......get this one......I have

UnitedHealthcare....They actually said that I was approved. My doctor said

that I was a perfect canidate....the weight thing was not an issue...5'4 and

300lbs should not be an issue....no real problems yet...YET. They had me go

through the EKG, blood work...and several other pre-op things....including 3

days of 1meal, and the rest clear liquids.....

The afternoon of the day before surgery....they called and said that they

changed their mind.......

You can just imagine how upset that I was.

unbelievable with these insurance co. I think if they would start approving

these surgeries than the costs would actually go down. Being overweight

causes many health problems and we need to be treated for all of those and I

feel in the long run it would be better for both, the insurance and the

patient. So, Yes I have to pay for my surgery but thats okay because I AM

Hi Phylis,

We share a birthday... mine is also on tax day. I hope you can get

what you want for your birthday this year. I know I am.. that

weekend will be the first weekend I can eat solid foods, in 6 weeks.

I might actually be able to go out and have fun this year. I never

used to feel comfortable going out.. I felt fat and ugly and my feet

would hurt too much to dance. I have only lost 25lbs so far, but I

already feel better, my feet dont hurt and I look better in my

clothes and hopefully I will have lost even more weight by then.

Hey Group:

My Hematologist/Oncologist stated that Gleevec's a very benign chemotherapy

treatment I agree, only in comparison to IV chemo; 'cause I went through H**L.

Skin tone changed drastically (hehe~~Tracey). Hair color went shades darker and

lost hair came back . . .gray with change in texture. Skin became thinner and in

addition to rash, developed scalp-nose-ear-eye issues. First time I've ever

maintained long fingernails, can't stand the toenail growth (hehe). Ladies

only~~became completely oblivious to menopause but libido was increased (hehe).

Due to all my chronic Orthopedic issues, I don't know if bone pain was

increased. No appetite, night sweats/chills, nausea/vomiting--trips to bathroom

voiding from all body exits. I am a Survivor--I AIN'T FINISHED YET!

Take care, ALL are in my prayers.
