Guest guest
Hi Carole I'd check with your nurse first before you order your test as I asked mine recently when going for blood tests, if she would give me some to take away (in my own container) for another test I wanted privately and she said " No, it would be unethical. Guest guest
Hi Jackie, I will do that, thanks for reminding, it was a bit thoughtless and impolite of me to just assume like that. I would take the whole kit in rather than a container, as she can see its all proper then, Im up front and they can have copies of my results for their records as well, so maybe Drs will get curious and then interested and learn something when they see the files with these non nhs test results in there and take another look to see what its all about. I think there is something in the kit tubes to stop blood clotting and keep it fresh from the moment its drawn, Carole > > Hi Carole > > I'd check with your nurse first before you order your test as I asked mine > recently when going for blood tests, if she would give me some to take away > (in my own container) for another test I wanted privately and she said " No, > it would be unethical. Guest guest
Don't hold your breath for them to be interested and want to learn more. I've given my GP lots of information and offered to loan him my book by Dr P, but to no avail, they tend to be very narrow minded and go by their medical training, which is often very out of date and also very out of touch !!! However, I hope yours is more receptive Jackie xIm up front and they can have copies of my results for their records as well, so maybe Drs will get curious and then interested and learn something when they see the files with these non nhs test results in there and take another look to see what its all about.
