Guest guest
Hi Kerry, I've used this book quite a lot too and found it quite useful for high magnesium foods. As far as the supplements go, I would be inclined to try just one at a time - unless anyone has different ideas. I alternate between liquorice root powder and siberian gineseng. But at some stage will probably try ashwanganda. And I have taken them at the same time as NAX and NT.And yes, I've been juggling diet too as I've got lurking candida. As far as breakfast goes, for the past year I've been having a full cooked english breakfast (no bread or mushrooms) - bacon or gluten free sausage, toms and fried egg cooked in a good oil like coconut oil. It suits me as I really need my regular protein meals for energy but a lot depends how much time you've got - if you're working it can be difficult to fit in a cooked breakfast - maybe scrambled eggs would be easier.Dr P recommended a product called ecobalance for candida - from http://www.naturaldispensary.co.uk/The only thing is it's a bit pricey. Natural antifungals - raw garlic is supposed to be effective and I think Sheila recommends bicarbonate of soda - this would all be in the files section under candida.Good luck with it all - best wishes Alison>> Hello,> > I've been reading 's book on Adrenal Fatigue & wonder if anyone knows if its ok to take the following whilst taking NAX &
Guest guest
Hi Kerry: I'm not sure on the question about the herbs, because I never took them for my adrenal fatigue. But as far as the thrush or candida....wild oil of oregano naturally kills these things. http://www.iherb.com/North-American-Herb-Spice-Co-Oreganol-P73-Super-Strength-60\ -Softgels/7712?at=0 This is the only oil I recommend. Cheers, JOT > Also, although I don't have Candida I do have persistent thrush which I can't shift, regardless of umpteen pessaries & pro-biotics supplements!, & thought perhaps I should try a natural antifungal. Does anyone know of a good one that's suitable to take if you have adrenal fatigue e.g. I presume the grapefruit seed extract is out as this is one of the fruits you are supposed to avoid......? Guest guest
Hi Kerry, You could try Wild rice, it is a grass not a grain. By the way I take Liquorice, Ginseng and Ashwahgha. Guest guest
Hi K: I use wild oil of oregano every day. I would not be without it. For Candida, I would take it everyday (1 gelcap) for 6 weeks straight. Then go off it for a week and start again for another 6 weeks. I use it everyday because of all the viruses and diseases out in the world. You never know when the next bird flu pandemic is going to hit. For the Thrush, take 2 gelcaps a day for 5 days (morning and afternoon) and then go down to one gelcap for 5 days. Basically, it is a natural anti-biotic and works very similar to same type dosage. Book of protocols: http://www.amazon.com/Cure-Cupboard-Oregano-Better-Health/dp/1931078270/ref=sr_1\ _2?s=books & ie=UTF8 & qid=1308502233 & sr=1-2 WOO needs to be taken with a meal, you need to take a probiotic sometime during the day (you should be doing that anyway)...drink lots of water throughout the day and make sure you take it at least 4 hours away from your iron supplement. Wild Oil of Oregano is rich in minerals including potassium, iron, calcium, zinc, and magnesium, copper, boron and maganese to name a few. Oregano also contains Vitamin C, Vitamin A and Niacin. It's a wonderful natural, organic supplement all on its own. What it cures: What wild oil of oregano cures: Candida Infections · Acne Pimples & Ingrown Hairs · Psoriasis & Eczema* · Dandruff* · Fingernail & Toenail Fungus ·Warts (hands & feet) · Athlete's Foot · Jock Itch · Colds & Flus · Sore Throat · Respiratory Infections · Sinusitis · Pneumonia · Chronic Bronchitis · Allergies · Tonsillitis & Laryngitis · Ear Infections · Arthritis* · Infected Cuts, Wounds & Burns · Animal Bites · Tooth infections · Gum Disease, Recessions & Absesses · Canker Sores · Cold Sores & other Herpes Outbreaks · Bed Sores · Boils · Diaper / nappy Rash* · Prostate Disorders* · Spinal Infections · Hospital Infections · Food Poisoning & Water-borne Illnesses · Giardiasis · Stomach & Intestinal Infections · Irritable Bowel Syndrome* · Colitis & Chrohn's* · Bladder Infections · Urinary Tract Infections · Kidney Infections · Measles, Mumps & Chicken Pox · Shingles · Ringworm & cea · Scabies & Head Lice · Worms & Flukes · Impetigo · Peptic Ulcers · Tuberculosis · Lyme Disease.* Colds & Flues,Skin Conditions,Respiratory & Sinus Conditions,Mouth Conditions,Digestive Conditions,Burns, Wounds, Cuts and Sore Muscles & Joints. As we'll as nasty infections such as Escherichia coli (E. Guest guest
YUP, just follow the thrush protocol for 10 days and then decide if you want to take it everyday. After 3 days on the WOO, you should feel the thrush is exiting the body but continue for the full 10 days to make sure it is gone. Cheers, JOT > > " For the Thrush, take 2 gelcaps a day for 5 days (morning and afternoon) > > and then go down to one gelcap for 5 days. Guest guest
Hi Kerry, I can't eat gluten and I avoid carbs, too. For breakfast I usually have an ommelette or scrambled eggs. I have hard boiled eggs as a snack sometimes, too. In terms of carbs, I have gluten free oats. I also have quinoa instead of rice, and use it in salads etc when they need to be a bit more filling. Hope you find a quick and easy solution! Georgie Does anyone else struggle with ideas on what you are supposed to eat at breakfast time?! It says I should avoid cereals.....bread isn't best if you are hypothyroid......does anyone know where I can get ideas on this?
Guest guest
Hi, You do have Candida if you have thrush......try opening a capsule of probiotics and mis with a spoonful of probiotic yoghurt and insert into the vagina. the coolness is soothing but also this will help fight the yeast infection. Candida is yeast is thrush. Use a tampon to push it up there and leave in over night. You need to take anti fungal supplements or drugs if your inclined probiotics liver support such as silymarin milk thistle and of course STOP ALL SUGARS AND HIGH GI FOODS ETC. this is essential do this for 6 weeks minimum and see what happens . there is lots of info on the net. for adrenals You can take that yes. I will send my list of adrenal support and see if it gives you any help. Sally xx I've been reading 's book on Adrenal Fatigue & wonder if anyone knows if its ok to take the following whilst taking NAX & NT:Ashwanganaha Root & leaf/Indian GingsengGinkgoleaf (Ginkgo Biloba)Siberian Gingseng RootIs it advisable to take all of these or perhaps one or even pointless to take any until the NAX starts to work a little? Also, although I don't have Candida I do have persistent thrush which I can't shift, regardless of umpteen pessaries & pro-biotics supplements!, & thought perhaps I should try a natural antifungal.
