Guest guest
hi all, My name is Caroline and I was diagnosed with Hashimotos in 2004. I would appreciate your advice concerning my 21 year old son's test results. He was very overweight as a child and changed from a lovely boy into a moody depressed teen. We thought that he may grow out of it. He lost interest in his school work. He told us that he could not concentrate and that he thought he may have Adhd. We had him tested privately to be told no he didn't have it, just maladaption to stress. Well things have gotten worse - it is like he is on a self destruct course and we cannot get through to him. He is smo king cannabis and cannot seem to give it up. He has lost so much weight and is very skinny now. He is anxious and very stressed all the time and at the least little thing. He cannot cope with anything. He is extremely argumentative and irritiable. He is also vey much younger than his 21 years, it is like he has the mental age of about 14. He is up and down (almost like bipolar). He is very depressed and says that he suffered depression in his younger years. Also, his skin looks yellow in places especially on his face. According to his GP he his normal and does not have a problem with his thyroid so I was thinking of taking him to see Dr Skinner. I would very much appreciate your thoughts on his labs as although he is really quite horrible at the moment I do not think that this is the real him.
