Guest guest Posted February 9, 2007 Report Share Posted February 9, 2007 Hey Group FYI: Per the scientific documentation, information and my own personal experiences; you should be A-OK with: No direct lengthy exposure to the sun while under Gleevec therapy without sunblock. However, for those of us who 'love' the sun and/or tan; I use an SP- 45 Sunblock and don't 'overdue'; I've been A-OK over 3 years. It's also to your advantage to use Lotion and/or Makeup with SP-15 daily if you have derma/skin issues under our gold therapy.
