Hi everyone....

I've been struggling for ages with a pounding heart and low exercise tollerance.

I gave up training with my personal trainer a couple of years ago because it was

wiping me out...

I'm now on 4 grains NT having got results of TSH 0.02. T4 - 13 (9-22) T3 - 4.8

(3.5 - 6.5) when I was on 3 grains.

I did have saliva tests for adrenals almost 2 years ago and have been on NAX

(2 or 3) and HC ever since. The HC is now down to 5 mcg a day and I don't

feel too bad.

BUT.... the doc found a spectacular heart murmur last Dec and I've had various

tests at the hospital. Not seen the consultant yet for all results (29th

June) but today on my 2nd echocardiogram she asked me if I got breathless a

lot (I do) and mentioned that my heart muscle was thick. Mucin due to

hypo? Later I went for an exercise tolerance test..... They put me on a

treadmill and although my heart was fast at 102 beats to start with (I was

anxious it's ususally around 78) they couldn't make it go much above 150

bpm.... (it used to be like this when I worked out too.) BP was 130/78 to

start with, they kept testing it whilst I exercised and it rose then suddenly

dropped 50 points whilst I was on the treadmill...... then started to climb up

again...

Any ideas what I should be looking at and what I should be asking?
