Guest guest
Dear Zavie I am 73 years young and was dx'd in June 2006. Started on 400mgs of Gleevec mid June. In October I had a cytogenetic test. Interpertation: Fish analysis using BCR/ABL probe showed no evidence of clonal abnormality. Consistent with complete cytogenetic remission in blood. Does that qualify me for your zero club? I took your suggestion and went to the Appreciation Album for Dr. Drucker and left a comment. I am happy to be part of this group. It has been very informative and has given me the confidence to push through despite the edema, nausau and bone pain. I am suppossed to have another cytogenetic test in March, but last week my coumadin and liver enzymes level was too high. Am going to have another blood test this coming Tuesday. I go to a great doctor at NY Presbyterian Hospital, so I am only a little concerned. Will keep you all updated. You are all great morale boosters. Thank you Ceil dx 6/06 New York City
