I've read that people who are hypothyroid have difficulty converting

beta-carotene to vitamin A and I have signs of vit a deficiency and would like

to take a supplement.

Is vitamin a as retinyl palmitate a suitable supplement? Or would converting

that be difficult too? I guess I can get retinol as fish oil, but the

guaranteed non-contaminated fish oils can be v pricey so I wondered if I would

retinyl palmitate would be equally effective.

Thanks

Debbie
