You posted to the wrong forum Liz - we have the main forum to

discuss anything about thyroid or related conditions, and then we have a CHAT

forum where we can discuss anything other than thyroid related conditions. The

Chat group is a 'social' group where you can tell a few jokes, swap recipes,

tell others about your holiday, or the book you are writing etc etc.

I have therefore forwarded this message to where it should go.

I have taken Levothyroxine for about 20 years

(Hypothyroidism) but I have just been told about desiccated porcine thyroid

(Erfa) which is available from Canada? I understand it is better as it contains

all the hormones the thyroid would normally make whereas the synthetic one only

contains T4.

I welcome all comments and suggestions and information about this.
