I have sent you a list of recommended doctors who will

recommend/prescribe natural thyroid extract and/or synthetic T4/T3 combination

therapy - your daughter might find somebody there. If she has to, she can buy

natural thyroid extract from several reputable international pharmacies. See

our list in the FILES section of this forum web site. On the Home Page, click

'FILES' and on the page that opens, scroll down to Internet Pharmacies' and she

can choose where to buy from there.

There is no need for a prescription to buy from any of these

pharmacies, but you need a prescription to buy thyroid medication in the UK.

It is cheaper to buy thyroid drugs yourself from an Internet

Pharmacy than paying for them using a private prescription.

My daughter has moved to London to work. Our

local gp was happy to prescribe Armour, which she has been fine on for approx.

2 years.

The new London gp won't prescrbe it, and the local gp says he can't help in any

way.

My daughter has now run out of Armour. She is in a stressful enough position

without this,what can be done? She seems to be in no-mans land between these

two doctors who it seems are happy to stand by whilst her health deteriorates!
