Guest guest
Hi I have not heard of this . . .find it very interesting, tho not sure how it works?? Does it mean you would need less medication, or would you just feel better on the same dose? One of my daughters is coeliac but not hypo, I am hypo but not coeliac, I understand therei is some sort of link however. Any info gratefully received! Guest guest
Hi everyone, has anyone decided to go gluten free with the aim at improving uptake of thyroid meds, and if so....has it worked and how do you feel? I have been on T3 alone since last November. After initially doing really well, I am now not great. I think I have issues with gluten and having now read how gluten affects thyroid meds, I decided to go gluten free as of yesterday. Any experience most gratefully received, julia
Guest guest
I went gluten free last year in July and have had a lowering of Hashi ABs. Am soon going to take another blood test and will post results. Also I have had burning feet. I had some improvement with this after going gluten free, but the most spectacular improvement in my feet was from taking vitamin B12. Funnily enough I took vitamin B12 before going gluten free and it didn't seem to make any difference.
