T3 is working very well for me and i am feeling so much better i suspect i have

gone slightly hyper im sure as i feel so amazing up to what i was feeling a few

weeks back

I am due another blood test next week my last one my tsh had gone from 28 to 9.1

ref 0.2/ 4.0 and my t3 was 9 also, my heartrate is around 90- 100 resting i am

taking 80mgs a day split into 2 doses which i have been on for 6 weeks

successfully.

Also i have lost a stone so am so happy as i have 8 more to go!!

Should i decrease my t3 slightly because of my heartrate or not?

Thankyou

Hi Dee, If you are having tests don't take any thyroid meds for 24 hours beofre blood is drawn, or your T3 result will be about double what it should be as T3 is absorbed into the blood fast, but it doesn't stay there long. What was the range for the FT3 you had done? and did you take you meds on the day of the test? > thyroid treatment > From: deetwigg@...> Date: Tue, 1 Mar 2011 22:45:32 +0000> Subject: Fast heartrate shall i decrease t3?> > T3 is working very well for me and i am feeling so much better i suspect i have gone slightly hyper im sure as i feel so amazing up to what i was feeling a few weeks back> I am due another blood test next week my last one my tsh had gone from 28 to 9.1 ref 0.2/ 4.0 and my t3 was 9 also, my heartrate is around 90- 100 resting i am taking 80mgs a day split into 2 doses which i have been on for 6 weeks successfully.> Also i have lost a stone so am so happy as i have 8 more to go!!> Should i decrease my t3 slightly because of my heartrate or not?> Thankyou> Dee x> > > > ------------------------------------> > TPA is not medically qualified.
