Guest guest
HI, Well I bumped up the message hoping someone would reply, but no takers yet!! On the face of it the thyroid results look ok, everything nicely in range so I can see why the doc is happy. BUT,,, if you feel rubbish and the urine test says nothing is going through into the cells then it's clearly not OK. Have you had a look at reverse T3 levels? How about Cellular resistance..... Have a look here at Nick's site http://www.thyroid-rt3.com/ The raised Ferritin suggests inflammation somewhere. You;re looking for it to be high, but not too high!! How about doing a saliva test to check where your adrenals are are different times of the day...... they are supposed to produce more hormones in the morning and then tail off towards the night, but if they are stressed this pattern can go haywire, leaving you feeling awful.... Test available from Genova and there is a discount if you mention TPA. details in the files..... How are your B12 and folate levels? These can make you feel tired.... Ideally you want B12 to be over 600.... and folate towards the top of the range...... How about Copper and zinc? if copper is low, it means the cells can't make use of iron in the blood, so even if the iron is there it's not used..... Plenty of stuff you can investigate yourself..... it just takes time and patience..... xx > > Hello forum. I am hoping that someone could point in the right direction. I have been suffering from exhaustion for several years due to stress and sleep deprivation with a young sick child. > I went to my gp last year and he took bloods and advised me that i was fine. Guest guest
>I had a 24 hour urinary hormone test test a few years back. it showed that most of the readings were low across the board except the 24 hour urinary phosphorus which was high. they did not recommend any treatment other than to get more sleep. I am getting more these days but i am still exahusted albeit slightly less so. what exactly was tested and what were the results? i'd look at adrenal function... have you done the hertoghe questionnaire? that should give you some indication what's wrong thyroid treatment/files/MEDICAL%20QUES\ TIONNAIRES/ some people dismiss this questionnaire thinking the questions are generic and could be anything, but i've found they match up well with blood tests. You could do worse than try to get hold of Hertoghe's book or Dr Peatfields book. is your sleep ok apart from being disrupted? by this i mean is it possible you could have sleep apnoea? (i have this condition, where i stop breathing 90 times an hour, with out treatment) chris > > Hello forum. I am hoping that someone could point in the right direction.
