Guest guest
I really struggled financially to get the full test done some time back, but it didnt help me at all. I cut out a lot of stuff and had no improvement at all for it. One thing I KNEW I was intolerant of came back saying I was ok with it, and something I never eat Im supposed to react to, and when I queried things I felt I was fobbed off with unsatisfactory answers, and that I had wasted money I struggled to get together which could have been put to better use. Having said this, we are all different, and its bound to work for some. Just not for me. I found the pulse testing for intolerances/allergies more reliable and wish Id found it first because its free! Carole > > I posted recently a special offer by YorkTest on a blood test for £10 (usually £20) today they rang me and said the result was positive, but they don't give a range hi-lo-med etc which I thought they would. I mean a low response is almost insignificant...but anyway, that sounded a bit duff, and obviously they will then push you to the 113 specific food test. Which may also be good, but i'd be keen to hear if anyone had the full screening and what they thought, and did they improve after changing diet? (Special offer below £129 usually £250) > I mean not only may the thyroid/adrenal issues be intolerance related, but my kidney disease is also the immune system attacking itself so that may well be related too. I have conducted various pulse tests to certain foods, and whilst I have had some definite reactions they have been quite low. > > Anyone else taken the full test? >
Guest guest
Hi there I've done the full test and I was not surpried at the foods it came back with me being intolerant to (ie based on my symptoms after I eat certain foods), so for me I certainly think it worked. Only problem is, I'm really struggling to give up dairy, so I haven't seen the benefit yet, but that's my problem, not Yorktest's! The thing that made me want to do the test is I've got so many issues going on (adrenal, thyroid, nutritional deficiencies, coeliac etc) that doing an elimination diet or food diary won't work - I would really struggle to tell whether symtpoms are related to a particular food or not. Also, having it on paper makes it easier for me to be self-disciplined, albeit that I'm rubbish with the dairy. What led you to do the initial test? Guest guest
Hello, Well I seem to have developed this weird possible thyroid/adrenal issue which meant my body temperature was dropping and pulse too! Plus I have kidney disease where my body is fighting something and the dead antibodies are clogging and damging the kidney! So both could be immune response issues related to allergy/intolerance. Nothing's easy here > > > Hi there > I've done the full test and I was not surpried at the foods it came back with me being intolerant to (ie based on my symptoms after I eat certain foods), so for me I certainly think it worked.
