Guest guest
Hello again you luverly peeps! I contacted goldshield who make the thyroxine I take, pointed out the insert leaflet says DO NOT take med if you have adrenal issues, and asked what happens if you take thyroxine and have adrenal problem, They responded " " " According to the Product Datasheet for Levothyroxine tablets, special care should be taken in patients with adrenal insufficiency as they may react to Levothyroxine treatment, and it is advisable to start corticosteroid therapy before giving Levothyroxine to such patients. " " " I will be seeing GP and taking my adrenal results to her, and wondered what I actually need to say/ask her to do about them, assuming she can do anything ahead of endo appointment. Is corticosteroid whats needed or is there something better?
