Hi Lizzie - it sounds as if your body has now received the T3 it

needed to get rid of your reverse T3 and now the T3 is getting properly into

your cells. You need to cut back and experiment with whatever you feel makes

you comfortable. You might not want to take any more today and start tomorrow

with you usual morning dose and your usual first afternoon dose, and if you

still feel 'odd' and jittery, don't take any more and see what happens the next

day if you just take your usual morning dose. You can get 'hypothyroid'

symptoms even though you are over-dosing on T3. Things will settle down.

Did your T3 arrive yet?

Luv - Sheila

I am having some strange symptoms and am wondering why.

It is 11 and a half weeks now that I have been on T3 only and I am now taking

75mcg of the cytomel from mexico.

I take 25 mcg on waking have breakfast and then take 2 NAE.

I feel fine in the morning.

Then at 1pm ish I take another 25mcg and then another 2 NAE then about 2 hours

later I start to feel jittery and shaky, hot and headachey, this is relieved a

little by eating some toast and having a drink.

I then take 12.5 mcg at 6pm and 12.5 mcg at bedtime.

Last night after tea I became very hot and felt agigtated and weird.

What I am wondering, since I am still getting some of my hypo symptoms is what

is this, is it adrenal or hyper?

My temps are not over 37.

any help appreciated
