Guest guest
Hey ! I have been away on Vacation for the past week and a half...and before that...not doing too well with RSD. I have been reading your idea about the face book....like Mike, I too , think that this is a good idea. As long as no group issues are discussed that might make a member feel their trust was betrayed....like you said...not to talk about our " monsters...ie pain issues " but just like you said about you and Kim learned you shared something so special...that is a neat thing! It is a great thing....this Face Book. I, myself, just met up with a friend that I have not seen or heard from (since we lost touch with each other due to both of us moving) in over 18 years. I just visited with her on my vacation...if it were not for Facebook...this would never of happened. I have been hearing nothing but wonderful stories of successful and happy outcomes of friends finding each other again and again on Face Book. I applaud your idea, !! As I am the co-Owner of this awesome and wonderful group, my first priority is to the member's feelings of trust and comfort. I see this as a great idea though....as it will only benefit all of us...we can chat and socialize with eachother and maybe even learn a bit more about eachother than before. Take great care! I am always here if you or anyother member would like to chat/ Gentle Hugs, Kathy G. Group Co-Owner **************A Good Credit Score is 700 or Above. See yours in just 2 easy steps! I have been reading into this Face Book idea of 's and think it is wonderful!! I, like Mike really think that it will do a great job of chatting for us all on our group! I really appreciate you and thinking of us though. I appreciate it and I know that Mike does too. How are things going for you lately, hon. I have been thinking of you...so what is up? Guest guest
About the Facebook, I'm starting to lean towards Mike's original concerns. The reason.....I went to the group on Facebook, I submitted my request to join......it says it's a closed group and you have to be approved to join. So I " applied " and then on HERE I presented the question " How do I know if I'm accepted, will you email me or what " and I've never heard a response back. I just went and checked and apparently it was approved, so in my opinion, there is more communication on here than the group on Facebook because whoever approves membership didn't respond. I have always had a response to a question here in this group when I written in (except regarding the Facebook membership). And that is why I love it so much. There is always someone ready to jump in and give you support, advice, and it's always uplifting/helpful. And it's always prompt. I have learned so much here and appreciate every email/response I've received. I originally had a good feeling about the group on Facebook, but I now feel I can " chat " with anyone right here, I always get a fast response. I feel very comfortable here. And we can talk about anything, humor to lift our spirits which can help us feel better. I think I'll stick with this. It would be difficult to even catch someone online in Facebook unless you've already made arrangements through this group. Maybe the Facebook group will work for others, but I'm going to keep my questions/comments here. Don't get me wrong, I love Facebook.....but for me and stimulator questions, this group has been wonderful for me. Take Care, B. in TEXAS ________________________________ From: " KGAVI@... In fact, it will take some of the off topic areas where alot of the members have said is hard to keep up with. In NO way, shape or form am I saying that our group is soley for pain issues, Mike and I do not feel that way. Guest guest
Its not a change you are not choosing between the 2 groups. We are expanding the group to add chats and messenger and a way to share photos of our families and enjoy a conversation together beyond the monster. Its like an escape. The virus could not have come from Facebook it came from something that maybe she downloaded from facebook. -- In Stimulator , crittersrose87@... wrote: > > i'mm going to stay on here? awhile back my daughter used our computer to get on facebook and we got a nasty virus from there?? plus i trust this group? why change > > > Re: Re: my view > > Hey Kathy! > > I have reading all these posts on the Face Book idea presented by . Guest guest
I have heard you have to be very careful what you click on in Facebook. I do know since I got on there over a month ago, I've started getting spam in my email.......I never got it before. And there are things that will give you a virus......I use YoVille and there are virus there. I know someone who had to take her pc in to get it " cleaned " from a virus she's certain came from YoVille. You just have to be careful, know what you're clicking on, get familiar with what is legitimate and what's not. But if you just go on there and go to the Group, I would think you would be OK. I enjoy Facebook. Gives me something to do since I'm home alone and rarely get out. If I still had teenagers at home, young ones, I would not let them use it just because they would be prone to click on the wrong thing and I've heard on 20/20, PrimeTime, all those news shows that there are predators on MySpace, Facebook, and any other internet site they like to lurk. And you have to be careful who you accept as a Friend. Noone can see your profile or Wall if they are NOT your friend, you have to accept them as a Friend for them to see it. I've received Friend requests from people I don't know and I just click Ignore. Take Care, B. in TEXAS ________________________________ From: " crittersrose87@... Guest guest
Wow! I had a facebook account but got rid of it after my (evil) sister found me on it. I didn't much like it anyway so it wasn't a loss. Maybe I could make a new account with a different name (so no one can find me) and just have Kathy and other fitness experts as my friends!! Facebook Boy, if you add Kathy as a friend on Facebook (and she does add you), you are open to a whole host of exercise experts who are her friends. I saw Petra Kohbler, Kay (and many of the Firm girls), , Anderbios (sp, the lady who produces a ton of workouts), Sansone, Leeza Gibbons, etc. Kathy

Guest guest
You know, one of the things that keeps me off facebook is the desire not to be found by some people. Not that I have such a dark or exciting past or anything, but there are some doors I'd rather just keep closed - y'know? Is there a way to set up your page so that it isn't public - as in, you can only give certain people permission to view it? I like my privacy and wouldn't want to put too much "out there" about myself if it could be read by just anyone.
Guest guest
There are ways to set it up so that it's more private. I know people like Kathy , etc have a higher level of security. You could go on Facebook and check into it.
