Guest guest
Dear Member DR GORDON SKINNER MD, BSC FRCPath FRCOG - - GMC HEARING For those of you who are not already aware, Dr Skinner has been summoned to a Hearing with the GMC in Manchester to assess whether any further action is needed, after his 3 years of conditional practice, which should have been completed late last year, but which had been extended after Dr Skinner appealed against the GMC conditions on his practice. The dates for this Hearing are 28th, 29th July and 1st, 2nd and 3rd August. Dr Skinner has requested that this Hearing be opened to the public and this has been granted. We need as many people to attend any or all of the days as possible, to show their support for the great work Dr Skinner has been involved in. The address for the Hearing will be the same as before, as this is the only place they hold GMC Hearings in Manchester. The General Medical Council, St Building, 79 Oxford Street, Manchester, M1 6FQ Please let as many people know about this Hearing as possible - their support is valuable. Please would you let the GMC know that you will be attending so arrangements can be made for the Hearing to be held in a room large enough to accommodate everybody. Will you please also send letters of support (VERY important) for Dr Skinner to: Cook, Investigation Officer, Fitness to Practise Directorate, General Medical Council, 3 Hardman Street, Manchester, M3 3AW And copy this letter to Dr Ahmad and Mr Ralph Shipway: Afshan Ahmad PhD,Director of Research and Development,Vaccine Research International Plc,22 Alcester Road,Moseley,Birmingham,B13 8BE,UK Mr Ralph Shipway, 5 Great College Street, Westminster, London, SW1P 3SJ Sheila (Chair - Thyroid Patient Advocacy) www.tpa-uk.org.uk
