Also you also yoou're supporting your adrenals which allows the body to use thyroid hormone more successfully.

Stay as you are for now and in a couple of weeks try again to increase, but yes otherwise it may mean your on the right dose. Take your basal temperatures and see what they are doing. Sally xx

Hi everyone,Have been doing really well on NAX/erfa for the past few weeks - noticeable increase in energy, good mood, losing weight and sleeping better. I was taking 1/2 grain NDT in the morning and 1/2 in the afternoon, with the plan of slowly raising from there. At the weekend I added another 1/2 grain in the morning. Was ok at first but yesterday I became somewhat jittery and anxious, had palpitations and couldn't get to sleep. (Today I feel exhausted! And it's made me realise THIS is what I used to feel like all the time (and worse!) which means I must be doing a lot better because it was a shock to the system!)Could it be that 1 grain NDT is enough for me? Considering I was on 125 - 150 thyroxine previously, I had thought I would be raising to 2 or 3 grains. I have changed my diet pretty significantly, totally gluten free now, and I'm taking salt, vit c, and supplements and NAX, so possibly that's what's made the

difference.Should I try to raise again, or give it some more time? Any thoughts? Thanks for reading,Georgie :)
