Guest guest
Hi Serum ferritin 12 ug/L (10-290) Your ferritin is terribly low and you should be taking some form of elemental iron such as Ferrous Sulphate/Fumerate 200mgs at least twice daily with high doses of vitamin C -(4/5000mgs - or at least to bowel tolerance) B12 240 ng/L (170-730) vitamin B12 should be at the top of the reference range. You need to start taking sublingual B12 (Solgar is an excellent brand) 1000mcgs daily. Serum iron level 9.9 umol/L (8-32) Too low, you must get iron this supplemented. Do not take any form of iron anywhere near to thyroid hormone replacement, take about 4 hours apart. Thyroid function tests look OK, but the blood tests only test the level of thyroid hormone that is in your blood, not the thyroid hormone that has been used by your cells - where it matters.
