Guest guest
Hi Lainie I can't really help with how you'd proceed on this one though i'm sure others will be able to help. were you aware that hypothyroidism can be linked to high cholesterol? if you take a look at this link, with other patients stories on, you'll see that some report their doctors keep their tsh lower than yours http://thyroid.about.com/u/ua/gettestedanddiagnosed/thyroid-tsh-range.06.htm (there's a few page of patient stories, you can move forward and back at the bottom of the page) Good doctors pay attention to how their patients feel, not just lab tests. I hope you find a good doctor - and more importantly start to feel better - soon. chris > > Hi everyone, > > I came upon this site by accident after searching for answers about thyroid problems and after reading some of your posts I'm sure that at last there will be someone out there who can help me. > > I was diagnosed hyper a few years ago and after treatment with carbimazole had the radioactive iodine treatment. Then after feeling absolutely deathly was told the reason I was feeling like this was I'd gone hypo and prescribed Thyroxine, firstly at 100mg then this was upped to 125mg.
