Curious..how long does it take to return to baseline levels after stopping NDT?

Hi..I had to stop NDT a week & a half ago due to intolerance issues,I have an

appointment with my GP in a weeks time to request tests for the usual

suspects,ferritin,B12,folate,D,etc...

I'm curious,if he decides to include a thyroid function test what would it show

three to four weeks post NDT,I'm assuming my T4 would still show elevated beyond

baseline for 4-6 weeks & TSH would show lower than my normal baseline..is that

correct?

Another quickie..I recently supplied my hypo symptomatic mother with a list of

tests to request from her GP..he ok'd most of them but wouldn't ok

25-hydroxyvitamin D,potassium,magnesium,zinc,copper..are these tests not

available on the NHS..or is this simply NHS penny pinching?
