Guest guest
Sheila - I really hope you will consider allowing this post. I was diagnosed with arrythmia, hypothyroidism and adrenal exhaustion, not from my TSH but from my T3 levels, about 18 months ago. I found supplementing T3 and Adrenal Extra worked for a while, then my symptoms came back, not as sever, but were still there. I always have had low body temperature even with thyroid meds. I went through a temperature resetting process, which has taken my temperature from 35.8C average daytime temp, to cycling at 37C. I now am much better. It takea about a year to fully recover the body from low temperature, and it is early days for me, but I am off all meds, my eyebrows have grown back, I am not exhausted and I have soft skin on my feet. My brain fog is lessening and I have more energy. Whilst not out of the woods, and maybe further testing will still reveal a need for some thyroid support, I am optimistic about these early results. I understand from my research that antibiotics, NSAIDS and anaesthetics can reduce temperature, and unless this is restored, there are long term health consequences. I guess I just want to pass my experience to anyone who is struggling to raise their temperature on a thyroid drug protocol and would like to try something extra. I have contacts to websites where anyone can get support through the process, it works by donation and is not expensive. Anyone interested is welcome to email me privately. Thanks for reading my experience. Jane
