Guest guest
Hi all, I have just received back my test results and now I am a bit unsure what my next course of action is.. I have a Dr who I had seen but he really had zero clue about anything and once he discovered my slight adrenal fatigue started me on licorice and then ignored that I have every single hypothyroid symptom.. I've had pretty bad fibromalgyia for seven years. Thanks to the Thyroid Patient Advocacy and a fantastic friend who is also going through something similar I was finally able to get the tests I needed and now I have zero idea what to do next... I have mild adrenal fatigue so I am wondering if I need to start cortisone and totally sort out my adrenals before I start attacking the rT3? My test results are T4 - 114 (58 -154) TSH - 1.20 (0.4-4.0) FT4 - 13.9 (10-22) FT3 - 5.93 (2.8-6.5) FT3:FT4- Ratio - 2.3 - (3.0-5.0) rT3 - 0.61 (0.04-0.54) THYROGLOBULIN : 20.0 (0 - 40) PEROXIDASE : 10.0 (0 - 35) ASI Adrenal Stress Index 06:00 - 08:00 AM : 18 Normal 13-24 nM 11:00 - Noon : 4 Depressed 5-10 nM 04:00 - 05:00 PM : 4 Normal 3-8 nM 10:00 - Midnight : 3 Normal 1-4 nM Cortisol Load: 29 (23 - 42nM) DHEA - 7 (3-10) D3 level - 80 (80 - 150) D2 - 47 (30-79) serum ferritin 50 (10-160) B12/folate 549 (191 - 900) R serum folate only 9.7 (3.8 - 20) INSULIN - DEPRESSED FASTING <3 NON FASTING <3 P17-OH - 35 (Optimal: 22-100 pg/ml) Total Salivary SIgA - 16 Depressed (Normal: 25-60 mg/dl) FI4 1 Negative Gliadin Ab, SIgA (Saliva) Any ideas, Dr suggestions or course of action would be highly appreciated..
