Certainly more of a reason than to refuse someone who is actively doing something for their child's health. Soon they'll be refusing you because you breastfeed, AP, co-sleep, non-circ, etc. Sheri > > > > > >
Guest guest
I know... I had a hard time biting my tongue. But even if she was willing to bend her policy, her initial state of mind would keep me from having her treat my child. I can see where she's coming from - she's been in practice for a loooooong time and is from the ines, so she has seen a number of the diseases that are now vaccinated for. This fact along with her traditional medical (i.e. limiting) training have led her yo view vaccines as the saviours of our time. Noble intent, however misguided. It just makes me sad. When I took Arlo in, there was a man there having his 5-week-old baby vaccinated. I could hear him screaming Amber Sheri Nakken wrote: > > The absolute nerve!!!! Guest guest
I met the same kind of arrogant doc when I searched for a ped before the birth of my twins. I was concerned about the Vit K shot. He didn't even look at me and just went and got me some kind of pamphlet, he was already offended that I even had doubts about giving that shot when he the god in white was all for it. How could I not trust his superior knowledge? He had never heard anything negative about the shot. I also told him that I didn't want the eyedrops. While handing me the pamphlet he said that if I would not allow the Vit K shot he would not treat my kids. That disqulified him right there. I went on searching for another ped. a. > I know...
