Ok, I looked at a Tom's box today while at the hfs and saw what Selena wrote

down about it.....they say the " long " name for it " sodium mono..... " , but then

they really " trick " you, I think, by then stating the source as from " calcium

flouride, an ore " , or whatever it says....I'm sure tons of people would see that

and says it's not regular flouride and it's from a natural source.....

So, by what you wrote below Phyllis, I'm confused now though.....is this form

NOT the normal " rat poison " form of flouride??....It really is a true natural

form??....I can see your point that even stuff in nature can be toxic too (like

herbs can be).. but I'm confused as to whether this form of calcium flouride is

" good or bad " ???....If it's still not good, is this why no 'really' natural

companies include in their tps?

I also don't like that Tom's may offer an adult flouride-free toothpaste, but

not one for kids......plus, all their pastes have sls in them and when I

questioned them on this, they told me straight out there is no scientific

evidence that there is anything bad about it, and it's 'necessary' to produce

lather, which is a bunch of bunk... I prefer the paste I use now because it does

NOT produce lather so I actually feel like it's doing a better job (dentists

even say that " dry brushing " like while you're watching tv is good)
