Guest guest
It could be related. Sometimes our body retains water and when starting to balance out it flushes the fluid out. Yes a runny nose is a detox symptom. Try increasing your salt intake. Buist, ND HC new iodine user with a question Hi there, I just started using iodine about a week ago. I am using the companion nutrients. I am wondering about a new symptom. Last night I had to get up 5 times to pee. Today it feels like my bladder is vibrating?? I know that sounds wierd...it's like it is having miniature muscle spasms. No pain, and when I go I really have to go. So is this some type of flushing out of toxins?I am on 12.5 mg of Iodoral once a day. I take it with glandular adrenal capsules and my Armour thyroid 120 mg. After the first 2 days I got a bad headache and my nose started to run. My headache went away in a day. My nose is still running but almost gone (no other cold symptoms). So it seems like I am detoxing but don't know if this is one of the symptoms. Thanks!
Guest guest
Bladder symptoms like this are on the list of bromide symptoms (see the Guide for the list). For sure, it's bromide detox. -- On 3 Jan 2012 at 0:42, niki7mg wrote: > Hi there, > > I just started using iodine about a week ago. I am using the companion > nutrients. Guest guest
Thank you both! I didn't find it on the list but I may not have been looking at the right list. I did however find it on the breastcancerchoices.org site, listed as: " ureteral spasm, frequent urination (mistaken for urinary infection) " That is exactly what is happening with me. Last night was better, only up three times, and today the spasms are coming and going instead of being constant. It's a really wierd sensation so I'm glad to have breaks from it. Starting yesterday I now have the acne I have heard about. So some serious detox happening with me and I'm only at 12.5. BTW I am primarily taking Iodine for thyroid support (Graves/Hashi's) and Lyme. Thanks again! Guest guest
That's great to hear that you are really seeing ( and feeling) the toxins leaving your body! Keep us up to date, and remember to do the Salt Loading Protocol if need be! Kathleen moderator Re: new iodine user with a question Thank you both!
