Guest guest
I have started taking ATP factors again because whilst I have had a lot of positive changes with taking iodine there are a few lingering things that I would like to get rid of and thought that maybe this could be the missing factor in my iodine protocol. I know they are just two B vitamins in megadoses but they seem to speed up my digestion and elimination (this is my 5th day of taking them)? Has anyone else experience this? I am a little more hungry than normal also. Is this just a transitory stage? Could it be helping me to better utilise the iodine I take and speeding up my metabolism? Also I read in a book I have that doses over 100mg of B2 over a long period of time can cause retina damage in some people (and doses over 500mg of B3 may cause some other problem I can't remember now). Is this true? I thought that any excess vitamin B was flushed out because they are water soluble. I take all the supporting supplements for the iodine protocol as well as a multi vitamin B tablet and an iron supplement.Fiona
Guest guest
Yes B Vitamins flush out. Niacin is the B vitamin that concerns people with liver damage. But I have not seen that as an issue and when I asked Dr Brownstein about it when he put me on it he said that it was not something I should be concerned about. Buist, ND HC Iodine and ATP factors I have started taking ATP factors again because whilst I have had a lot of positive changes with taking iodine there are a few lingering things that I would like to get rid of and thought that maybe this could be the missing factor in my iodine protocol. Guest guest
Yes, when optimized the iodine protocol can speed up your metabolism (if you needed that, it won't speed it up if you don't need it). It's just removing impediments and giving you what you needed in order to function properly. -- On 3 Jan 2012 at 6:38, ladybugsandbees wrote: > > > > Yes B Vitamins flush out.
