Guest guest
Hello Pam, There is a very good NTH thyroid from Canada called Erfa; as your daughter if that is what she is taking. It is sometimes called Canadian Armour, although it does not have the problem the new formulated Armour has and is not made by the Armour folks here in America. It is a Canadian product. I have taken Erfa in the past and it is a good natural thyroid. Best, Kathleen moderator Canadian thyroid My daughter is currently taking a thyroid medication she calls Canadian thyroid (per her doctor), but when I asked her to be more specific, she said that is what it is called. Does anyone know if this is a natural thyroid or dessicated thyroid? I am hoping it is not synthetic. She continues to have problems and I am trying to get her to change doctors in Chicago. She is so tired all the time and is only 30 yrs. old. It makes my heart break for her, but I am trying to find a better doctor who follows Dr. Brownstein's protocol. thanks,Pam H. Guest guest
Pam,I have been on ERFA thyroid (Canadian thyroid) for years, since we had the thyroid shortage. I have heard it is like, or is the same formulation of the old Armour of the 1950's, and has been wonderful for me, no problems at all. Guest guest
It could be ERFA Thyroid. It is the desiccated thyroid that comes from Canada. http://thyroid.erfa.net/ Buist, ND HC Canadian thyroid My daughter is currently taking a thyroid medication she calls Canadian thyroid (per her doctor), but when I asked her to be more specific, she said that is what it is called. Guest guest
Hi Pam...I think it's probably Erfa, which is a naturally dessicated thyroid. BarbF In a message dated 1/2/2012 4:07:46 P.M.
