Guest guest
To increase storage of iron (increasing ferritin numbers) B6 works well to assist. With cancer the iodine doctors have recommended dosages of 200 - 300 mgs / day. 25 mgs is considered maintenance for those that are healthy. When I was fighting thyca I started at 50 mgs. I made the most progress at 125 mgs. Just an FYI since you are starting so low. Iodine, supplements, and companions Gentle Folks, I'd just like to get a final clarification before I hit the 'order' button ... For reference: thyca with no thyroidectomy / RAI ...1. Ordered Lugols 2% from eBay guy - Will start @ 25mg and raise up to 50mg within a week if detox symptoms are not bad.2. About to order Life Extension Se-methylseleneocysteine, American Health Ester C, and Kal Mag (will take 400mcg, 4000mg, and 400mg, respectively)3. Probiotics - Raw milk homemade Kefir (I know it's not part of the protocol)4. Should I order ATP Co-Factors from Optimox as my research shows: ATP Cofactors (vit B2 / B3) enhance the transport and liberation of iodine in various target tissues ** Just need to know how much of ATP to take on daily basis **5. Do I need to order any other supplements like Iron, etc...My labs for iron last month was: FERRITIN, SERUM - 25 (Range: 13-150 ng/mL)IRON, SERUM - 131 (Range: 35-155 ug/dL)IRON SATURATION - 44% (Range: 15-55%) Thanks in advanceParvin from Texas
