Guest guest
Amy did you get your questions answered. With the holidays it was hard to keep up on the messages. Buist, ND HC Owner / iodine Group Another New Member newly diagnosed with Thyroid Cancer Hello Everyone -I am new to your group and a newly diagnosed with papillary thyroid cancer. I have had hashimotos for about 10 years now and recently found Stop The Thyroid Madness and started incorporating a lot of their suggestions into my life including taking Armour, gluten free, etc.Anyways - I am completely overwhelmed by the information on this site but I understand that Iodine supplementation can help. I have a thyroidectomy scheduled for January 26th, and would like to do as much research on thyroid cancer and what alternative paths I can take to traditional medicine. Not saying I am not going to have the TT but truthfully the RAI that may follow scares the crap out of me. I also have a history of breast cancer in my family (my mom was diagnosed at 43, I am 33).Can anyone take the time to tell me where to start? What docs to read first? What websites to look at? Again- I am sorry to ask this, but now I am overwhelmed and stressed and everything else that has been thrust into my world in the last three days. Thanks.Amy
