I then began to think about the fact that I don't think iodide is found in nature. I did a search and couldn't find a reference for it either. Iodine is in seaweed, harvested from "mines" in Chile (where Iodoral's iodine comes from) but I couldn't find where iodide would come from. It is created in the body by reducing iodine. More to look into.
