What kind of iodine are you taking? Anyway, detox reactions are varied. I use

to get very sleepy, but I always felt an underlying boost, that something good

was happening. So, I just slept. After a couple weeks, that went away. Then I

kept adding more iodine to my daily intake till I hit the next " speed bump. " I

think you're just experiencing a mild reaction to toxins being freed. Just stay

with the 6mg and if the problem doesn't resolve itself after a couple more days,

increase your vitamin C by another gram a day and see if that helps. That's what

I would do if I had your problem. There is always the option too of cutting back

on the iodine while continuing the companion supplements at the same level.

Peace and gratitude, Dean

the day I feel really tired. Has anyone experienced this? Thanks!

Hi Bluejeanbaby,6 mg is a very small amount of iodine. Tiredness is a detox reaction. Are you taking the daily salt and have you tried salt loading for the tiredness? That may help the detox. Also taking more iodine may be helpful, as the iodine doctors are now thinking that 50 mg a day is necessary for maintainence, so working up to higher amounts might really be helpful to gain full body saturation so you can give your body all it needs to function properly. Thank you for your answer. I am on Iodoral right now. I feel like the iodine

is causing me anxiety problems honestly. I couldn't really pinpoint it for a

few days then after about a week on 6mg I could tell that my anxiety was

definitely increasing. So I cut back to 3mg yesterday and now 1mg today. I

will probably stay low until the buzz wears off. I will up my Vitamin C as well

to see if that helps. Thank you!
