I think you misunderstood. The liquid Lugol's is sometimes less absorbable for people with gut issues and they do better on Iodoral because it delivers lower in the gut.

I would try ingesting it and see how it goes. Topical application isn't as good because a lot of it is lost to evaporation.

Absolutely, Rae. It's always helpful to paint externally over a problem area.

I've

had pain in my knees stop in response to painted Lugol's. We've had women with

ovarian cysts get clear with a combo of internal and external.

Yes, my response was about the value of painting, but one would also want to be

taking it internally for SURE. External painting is in ADDITION to internal.

Rae, there's no reason not to use the Lugol's for both internal and external

application.

Oh I have a bum knee so that will be cool to be without pain. Now I know this may be a really stupid question but since it can be painted on I need to know something. My twin sisters husband has a huge hernia growing out of his belly button. Due to his weight and he has a severe jaw deformty no doc will do surgery. He was born without a palete and because his throat structure is so bad they cannot put a tube during surgery down his throat so they usually do a trachea and put the tube thru that. No one has hired him in 4 years and he just applied for disability. The lady who did the papers was close to tears when she asked him to lift his shirt. She was shocked that no one will do surgery. Can he maybe paint that area 2 times a week since if he does any more then that it would become too

sensitive. he was Barbequing in the summer and leaned to closed and burnt thru 7 layers of dermis skin. It took forever to heal. He is diabetic, has high blood pressure and i also wonder if he also has a thyroid problem. Thanks Rae From: Baker <vbaker@...> "iodine " <iodine > Sent: Thursday, January 5, 2012 7:20 PM Subject: Re:

Rae, I addressed this in the last day. If you use a brush you will waste a lot

of the

Lugol's, it isn't appropriate to do that, imo. Also, it needs to be in a

carrier oil, as I

have been discussing, in order to avoid skin irritation. Please go back to my

other

recent posts on this subject.

I feel bad for your BIL. He needs a second opinion, that is no way to live. If

they've

done a trach before for surgery they can do it again. It's wrong they are

leaving

him like that.

Yes, he could paint, but ONLY WITH A CARRIER OIL as I have been discussing.

Oh-- you asked about a brush-- if you did use a brush you'd be better off NOT

rinsing it every time so that you don't add water into your oil/Lugol's and that

you

don't lose all that product every time. You're really better off putting on a

rubber

glove and using your hand if you don't want to get it on your hands.

I hope this helps.

Hi he lives in Canada and doctors are a rarity there. He is such a unique case. They almost lost him years ago in his last surgery. His heart went crazy. I feel bad for him to. He lost his job after 33 years because the plant moved to the States to Boston I think. RaeSent from my iPodOn Jan 6, 2012, at 2:13 AM, " Baker" <vbaker@...> wrote:
