Guest guest
Who is Dr. Bernstein? Buist, ND HC a question I received..... Hi Bonnie, Do you know if Dr. Bernstein mentions anything about large doses or iodine and kidney disease either helping or hurting? I'm getting what I think is proteinurea, protein leaking into the urine and I'm wondering if it has anything to do with the large dose I have been taking. Any info would be appreciated. Thanks. Could someone please answer this question, from someone that I told to join this forum but who didn’t. I will pass it on to him. Thanks, Bonnie

Guest guest
Ok because there is a Dr Bernstein http://www.diabetes-book.com/ There was some discussion about the issue of the Potassium in the Lugol's solution at the Iodine conference in 2007 but I don't remember a consensus on that. There has been no issue that I am aware of with iodine and kidneys. Dr Brownstein's book (I helped edit it) does not address a kidney issue. Bonnie - I did answer his previous question about foamy urine. We just don't have any answers. The only way he is going to know if it is proteinurea is to get tested.
