Guest guest
My health food store only had the above idone, out of Lugols. The total 12.5 mg is the same but has 3 sources: 5 mg molecular iodine, 5 mg of sodium iodide, and 2.5mg of potassium iodide. Is this formula as good as Lugols? I have read potassium iodide has some negative effects? Thanks for you help. Bill
Guest guest
Hi Bill, If you had read the Guide for Supplementing with Iodine you would have seen that Tri-Iodine is on the recommended list. I prefer, Lugol's in solution form, or Iodoral in tablet form. But yes, Tri-Iodine is fine. Potassium Iodide does not have negative effects.
