Guest guest
Ric: Three weeks is NOT enough time for you to have anything concrete in my opinion. You didn’t go slowly like I suggested before. I think your body ACCEPTS the Iodine FAR BETTER, when you go GENTLY and is much easier to monitor any changes that way. Have you not seen any improvements yet, in your digestion? I've been taking iodine for about 3 weeks now. I'm up to about 7 drops per day with 7% lugols. Sometimes I would take the same amount in the afternoons but I have since started making and drinking colloidal silver in the afternoons. SO far I haven notice any huge difference unfotunately. I am taking it as i have severe digestive problems mainly SIBO, Candida., low stomach acid, which gives me daily diarrhea and cramps etc.. combine that with allergies and it makes me feel quite rough in my day to day life. I put a drop of iodine on my wrist to see how long it would stay there for and it pretty much disappeared with 1hr30mins. My question is does doing a test like that really give you a credible indication as to whether one is low in iodine? And is it true that iodine can help restoring stomach acid production? At the moment I'm in bed with flue like symptoms. I'm hoping this is due to some die off reaction finally rather than just having a winter flu. Any advice would be appreciated. Guest guest
Hi Bonnie, I can't say I've seen any huge benefit in my digestion at the moment unfortunately. I still need to go very frequently during the day. My stomach still feels weak and sensitive. As you say, it might be early days. I tend to add an extra drop every 4 days or so. I haven't gone overly slow with the protocol like adding one drop a week like you suggested but nor have I just shot up to 20 drops in one go either. Either way, I'm going to stick to this for a good while longer. Iodine is quite easy to take and doesn't taste that bad. Unlike the 35% hydrogen peroxide protocol i tried previously which was a real pain to fit around one's eating patterns and it tasted like bleach! Not easy at all! I may try making my own iodine too after have watched that video on youtube. Guest guest
I started on 50mg Iodoral and I guess I had been lifelong deficient so my body really went nuts. it was not a bad thing really, it was just a new experience for me. I felt like Jim Carrey in the Mask! so I think you can experience some strange things as your body gets used to it. if you read the info for beginners on the site it deals with testing. lots of things get better on iodine.
