Guest guest
Big Al, May i ask what other types of supplements you've been taking during these 2 months. I would KILL for a degree raise in body temperature in that amount of time. -brendan d. > > > I used to have cold extremities and did the " Syndrome " protocol, > > where you chase your temperature with T3 and when you have it normal, > > slowly wean off the T3. Guest guest
Don't know if this helps but my mum did intravenous Vit C and dropped her mercury from 35 down to 5 over the course of a few months. The doctor was also very impressed. She eats very healthily always but had mercury fillings. From: bd0789 <bd0789@...>iodine Sent: Wednesday, 25 January 2012 3:47 PMSubject: Re: Hi all! Question from a person with mercury toxicity... So you're telling me all you had to do was increase your t3 til your normal t3 levels were correct and then wean off the T3 and you never experience low body temperature from the point on up to date? I'm very interested in this...please let me know the exact protocol how you did it...i'd like to look into it.My cholesterol had never been too bad, but im also very young. May i also ask how many round of Cutler Chelation you did before you stopped and how you decided to stop?>> I used to have cold extremities and did the " Syndrome" protocol, where you chase your temperature with T3 and when you have it normal, slowly wean off the T3. I had my mercury filling removed and also did the Cutler protocol and now it's 150 with a very low dose of generic mevacor. Don't know if it's the Hg detox, but don't know what else would have done it. I discovered Vitamin D3 about two years ago and have just discovered Iodine or at least how most of us are very low in it. I've started supplementing and seem to be experiencing elevated mood and energy, but comes and goes. I've only increased my iodine intake for about two weeks.> > RO>

Guest guest
Al, I don't know what state you live in, but the best way to find a doctor who will be familiar with iodine therapy is to use the doctor referral search feature at one of these two websites. http://www.aaemonline.org/ http://www.acamnet.org/site/c.ltJWJ4MPIwE/b.6182915/k.5B78/PhysicianLink_Advance\ d/apps/kb/cs/contactsearch.asp It will be important for you to screen each office by asking questions of the receptionist before booking an appointment because some of these doctors will claim to be knowledgeable about iodine therapy, but they will want to do it their own way. It is sometimes necessary to travel a little further to find a good match than it is simply to go to the doctor in the nearest Zip Code. You want to ask if the doctor follows the iodine protocol as taught by Dr. Brownstein, MD who has lectured at medical conferences for both of these groups and who is himself a member of ACAM. There are other groups of doctors (for example, the " anti-aging " doctors) who understand the usage of natural thyroid hormones also besides just the two groups I listed above, but I don't know if they understand iodine therapy or not. If all you are looking for is an Rx for natural thyroid, then you shouldn't have much trouble at all in finding someone among all of these different groups of doctors. Also, many of these doctors will often belong to more than one professional group because of their overlapping interests. Here's a link to an anti-aging group of medical practitioners. http://www.waaam.org/ > > > Hi Big Al, > > Time to find a new doctor! Guest guest
n, Something else that helps elevate low body temperature is to add a tablespoon of coconut oil -- aka: coconut " fat " since it's solid at room temperature -- to your diet because it helps to increase metabolism. Someone in this group reported that when she started eating coconut fat daily that her low body temperature increased by one degree, so I tried it, and I was surprised that the same thing happened to me, too - along with a very welcome increase in energy. The reason for this is the coconut fat contains medium chain triglycerides which are burned for fuel by the body. Here's a link to help you understand the value of coconut in your diet. http://www.coconutresearchcenter.org/ Furthermore, the fatty acids in coconut help the body to utilize iodine better although I've forgotten how they do that. Perhaps someone else can explain it for you. I'm pretty sure coconut fat helps with the " good kind " of cholesterol too, but I can't remember about that fact for sure. I'm sure you'll find the answer to that at the Coconut Research Center's website, posted above. > > > > > I used to have cold extremities and did the " Syndrome " protocol, > > > where you chase your temperature with T3 and when you have it normal, > > > slowly wean off the T3. Guest guest
Thanks Kathleen Being anti-fungal is not quite the same thing as being able to detox the fungal toxins though, although they are related. You could kill off the fungus but if you don't get rid of the mycotoxins they produce, you'd still have problems. Jaye > > Hi Jaye, > Yes, iodine is considered to be anti-fungal. Doug Kaufmann on his tv show Know The Cause often talks about the importance of taking Lugol's along with his anti-fungal diet . www.knowthecause.com<http://www.knowthecause.com/> . > Best, > -Kathleen > moderator
