Guest guest
So, I've finally added the daily salt to my regimen. I dissolve it in water and drink it; chase it with water. But the last 2 days it has caused me to vomit - and loose all the pills/vitamins I just took. So how do you all keep it down? Gruber choosethisday@... Guest guest
I can usually take it in orange juice all at once but taking the salt in a capsule was actually what made me nauseous (and that was only 1/4 teaspoon). It took quite a bit of water to get it the nausea to subside completely. Guest guest
Wait a few hours before drinking your salt. The correct way is to drink copious amounts until you urniate. I drink a quart or more of water when I salt load. I drink a half gallon or more of water a day. It helps rid the body of toxins and helps lubricate joints in the body. I do best putting the 1/2 teaspoon in a bowl and taking some throughout the day and following that by water each time. No nausea at all. in AlaskaOn Wed, Feb 1, 2012 at 7:26 PM, Gruber <choosethisday@...> wrote: So, I've finally added the daily salt to my regimen. Guest guest
A faster way to make the salt tabs is to get a capsule filler. My local food co-op sells them. You have to " jigs " one for the top of the pill one for the bottom. you put a bottom in each hole in the 'jig', and the top in each hole of the other jig. Fill the long part of the capsule with salt by pouring into the jig and then put the other jig on top of it, squeeze together and you made 24 capsules all at once. > > > > So, I've finally added the daily salt to my regimen.
