Guest guest
Hi Sandy, depending on where it is there may be other approaches you can use. There is a black salve (made in Australia!) that I read about - but I was not game to use anything so close to my eye, so I had the biopsy and the surgery. http://www.eathealthybealive.com.au/eathealthybealive/OnLine_Shop_-_Other_Products.html?gclid=CLStjqO3iq4CFSlLpgod8wzR3g Re: taking iodine transdermally Has anyone tried painting Lugols (I have the 5%) on basal cell skin cancer's ? I am hoping by putting a drop or 2 on a skin cancer BCC several times a day it will halt its progression. I know it has to be cut out at some time but I didn't want to go into hospital with a open wound. Sandy
Guest guest
Sandy, I have a history of getting basal cells on my legs and I have always had them surgically removed, until a few months ago, when a new one cropped up,and I decided to give the lugol’s a try. I painted it on for about one month, one drop per day, and voila, it’s gone. This was on my forhead near my hairline, but since I wear bangs, it was always concealed. I would give it a shot if I were you. Pam H. Guest guest
A friend of mine used that black salve on a cancerous spot on her forehead. It took care of it but hurt like the dickens! Guest guest
People are definitely using Lugol's on skin ca and reporting success. You're not going to make it worse with the iodine, it's totally worth a try. Some folks are using 10% Lugol's in a tincture form (sometimes called " strong tincture " ) to get more strength. I do believe the two sellers on ebay that I trust sell 10%, or you can make it yourself. But again here is Pam who used regular Lugol's (did you have 2% or 5%, do you know?) with success. -- moderator On 6 Feb 2012 at 21:08, Pam Hopmann wrote: > > > > Sandy, > I have a history of getting basal cells on my legs and I have always > had them surgically > removed, until a few months ago, when a new one cropped up,and I > decided to give the lugol´s a try.
