Yes most feel best in the upper 1/3 of the range for FT3 and mid range for FT4. Your FT3 is lower but your FT4 looks OK. This may signify a conversion issue which would occur in the liver and kidneys. A liver cleanse may help this.

As a side note: As of yesterday I am able to offer Pure Zen Health TLC to my clients. I am excited about this as I think it is a valuable product with the Iodine protocol.

thyroid blood tests

Hi there!Did I remember correctly that T3 Free should be on the high end and T4 Freeshould be in the mid range? Is 2.91 (2.4-4.20) considered to be low and a concern for T3?1.340 (0.800-1.700) T4 TSH 2.130 Im deciding whether to get my 20 yr. old college student to start taking oidinefor general wellbeing (also has occasional asthma triggered by respiratory illnesses)but more specifically to boost his thyroid. I was diagnosed with hypothyroidism a couple years after he was born and know thereis an heriditary factor. My only concern with his beginning iodine protocol is that college life makes it challenging to do the protocol on a daily basis. Thank you! Really enjoy reading all the posts !Jeanne

Thanks Srephanie,Actually those numbers are my son's blood test. How does that factor in then? He isnot on any thyroid meds; I wanted to see his numbers to see how his thyroid was doing. His TgAB - <20 (0.0-20.0) Would be nice to know how much less than 20!TPO 0.4 (0.0-9.0)I was interpreting this as a positive sign and that he is not hypothyroid. Thanks!Sent from my iPadOn Jan 18, 2012, at 1:04 PM, " Buist, ND HC" <stephaniebnd@...> wrote:
