Hi Everyone,

It is the nature of an eLoop like this for people to share their problems. Quite frankly, for most of us there's no other place to ask questions and have our concerns eased.

But I thought I'd share some good news!

After dosing myself with the companion nutrients for months, I began taking Iodoral about a month ago. I feel great. I began with 12.5mg per day, increased by 12.5mg each week, and I'm now at 50mg per day. During that time, I've had mild detox reactions: a brassy taste in my mouth, loose stools, and a few body pimples. I can bear any of that - detox has not been the nightmare I'd feared.

Besides feeling good, my most exciting "symptom" has been the reduction in the size of my ankles. I definitely had the non-pitting edema associated with hypothyroidism. It was not pretty. Now my ankles just look "sturdy" (which will ever be the case, it's just the way I'm built).

A huge thank you to and all the moderators for helping me take this important step in improving my health.

Toni
