hi. my naturopath asked me to take a pre and post urine iodine/halides test. It

says in the directions to avoid products that contain iodine such as kelp, fish,

and sea vegetables. though i looked up a list of foods high in iodine and i

found that cod liver oil had a lot! and so does dairy and potatoes..so should i

just stay away from all of those foods because that would be impossible. I eat

fish almost everyday. what food should i stay away from? it says to stay away

from these foods for 48 hours. anyone who has done this test...what have you

stayed away from?? thanks a ton!!

I was always told to avoid specific supplementing not foods that contain it. Odds are your foods do not have much iodine as everything is so depleted.
