Iodine Protocol Question

I have been on a very effective standard process prolamine iodine protocol

before joining this group.

I suffer from PTSD type symptoms and hypogonadism and some other problems. I

have extremely high Reverse T3 probably due to stress. I am Hypo in some aspects

but its not a current diagnosis on my medical chart.

I am getting all my labs re-drawn this week (mostly focused on Testoserone and

thyroid).

I read the PDF Guide, and it says Prolamine is not a good Iodine because it " is

too low to adequately detox the body " . I am curretnly at 12 tablets per day,

36mg. My alternative doctor recommends them because they are organic as compared

to Iodoral which has some non-food based ingredients.

HOWEVER his protocol supports EITHER form, he just recommends Prolamine Iodine.

He also basis his protocol on Dr Abrahams and Brownstien so I dont think theres

much disagreement on the benefits etc.

So my question is, if i switch from 36mg Prolamine to 50mg of Iodoral, could i

experience more benefits? Has anybody tried this conversion?

I am still experiencing cold feet. My protocol was still handling the cold hands

and feet very well until the winter hit. Now its pretty bad. Also maybe the

Iodide that is NOT in prolamine would be good for that??

I wont do anything until I get my lab results back and see where my T3, T4 etc

are.

But I would like some advice on this situation.

I am also taking Thyroid Complex by Standard Process.

I'll post my lab results when I get them and see if theres any recommendations

from this group. I am happy to found the group
