Guest guest
I got this today in response to my post. Does anyone know who this is? Please check out Wikipedia under the words “iodine and Wolff-Chaikoffâ€. Too much iodine blocks your thyroid’s ability to make thyroid hormone. You are thyroid deficient, which was likely caused by excess iodine. The WHO, CDC, and FDA don’t recommend more than about 1 mg of iodine daily, and in some people this is excessive. At 2 iodoral daily you are taking 25 mg of iodine-25 times the highest amount recommended by the world’s iodine experts.
Guest guest
It is obviously someone who does not belong on this list if they do not believe in its premise. Thanks for the heads up.On Mon, Feb 13, 2012 at 3:41 PM, Lezam7777 <lezam7777@...> wrote: I got this today in response to my post. Does anyone know who this is? Guest guest
Hi Leza, This person is absolutely wrong! Here is an article that will be very helpful to you, explaining how the Wolff-Chaikoff effect is a total lie. http://www.optimox.com/pics/Iodine/IOD-04/IOD_04.html Kind regards, Kathleen moderator Re: Thyroid levels Dear Lezam, You were probably borderline low thyroid when you started the iodine, and it has made you worse. Guest guest
Yes that is Zava from ZRT Labs. They have their own ideas about iodine that conflict with what we advocate here. Wolff- Chaikoff has been disproven. See Dr. Abraham's article on www.optimox.com -under research about Crying Wolff. His son Ted is a member here. Apparently he is passing information off the group - which is against the rules because is not a member here.
