Guest guest
Mag glycinate is JUST FINE. If you already have that one, use it up before spending money on something else. There is no reason to make this more complicated than it is, nor costly. Magnesium Chloride is the form used directly by the body, all other forms must be converted to it. However, it can be more expensive to buy, although more of it is used by the body. But until you need to repurchase, you're fine where you are. If the mag glycinate doesn't cause you diarhhea, you may want to just stay with that form. The main thing is to be able to take the amount of mag needed without causing the runs, which means you're not uptaking the nutrients. -- On 10 Feb 2012 at 21:47, olushola camara wrote: > > > > > > On Fri, Feb 10, 2012 at 7:57 PM, ninetac <ninetac@...> wrote: > > I have just a few questions if you don't mind, > > ***** 1. Guest guest
Buist, I am sure you are quit busy, but lef.org web site is free, so you can go there and see all previous magazine articles. As a paid member you get the magazine and discounts on there products and blood tests. There was a article about Iodine and it's benefits, it was October 2011. The article about the benefits of Magnesium-L-threonate for brain was quite interesting. So if you used magnesium-l-threonate as the form of magnesium in the support nutrient's, would you be getting double duty so to speak, Iodine support and better brain health and function ? kmk I have just a few questions if you don't mind,***** 1. Guest guest
We don't make a practice of recommending the priciest forms of the companion nutrients as a general rule, because the protocol should be accesible to everyone. Certainly if someone has the resources this looks on the surface to be interesting and possibly valuable, but one would still need to take additional magnesium to get up to the 400mg /day required for the iodine protocol. -- moderator On 12 Feb 2012 at 1:30, Kienle wrote: > > > > Buist, > > I am sure you are quit busy, but lef.org web site is free, so you can > go there and see all previous magazine articles. > > As a paid member you get the magazine and discounts on there products > and blood tests. > > There was a article about Iodine andit's benefits, it was October > 2011. > > The article about the benefits of Magnesium-L-threonate for brain was > quite interesting. > > So if you used magnesium-l-threonate asthe form of magnesium in the > support nutrient's, would you be getting double duty so to speak, > Iodine support and better brain health and function ? > > kmk > > > > > I have just a few questions if you don't mind, > > ***** 1. No It doesn't cause the run's but I am more consistant. I read 's book and one question I still have, If you could is the amount. I started with one drop, is that enough, I am not having any herx complication's as of yet due to the fact I was taking iosol I imagine. Should I up the one drop to start at the right dosage? Is there a holding period before I up the dose? i have tried to research this but I can 't find a protocol. Thank you so much.
Guest guest
Try to put your responses at the top of the email, ok? It makes it so much easier. There is no set protocol. You can increase the amount as you feel comfortable doing so. Some people start right off at 50mg, you're not going to " hurt " yourself, it's just that if you do have detox/herx's it could be a lot stronger if you start off at a higher level. I started with 1 drop of Lugol's for the first 3 days, then gradually started adding more as I felt the positive effects and gained confidence. Basically, each person makes their own decision about how rapidly to increase and how much to take. btw Iosol is expensive compared to Lugol's so we recommend Lugol's. -- > >, Thank you, so much.
