Guest guest
Just curious why you want to use the iodine to kill bacteria. We drink raw milk, without any problems. We have a farmer we trust. I would wonder about the iodine denaturing the milk proteins, fats etc. It is my understanding milk has its own properties to kill bacteria within itself. Wonder if the iodine would upset that balance. I think it is when a bunch of bacteria is introduced at milking that you have the need for pasteurization. Thus a trusted farmer is pretty necessary. Just wondering... > > Hi > > Has anyone added iodine to raw milk to kill bacteria? How much do you use? > > Jaye >
