Guest guest
I like to take niacin to raise HDL and lower LDL and triglycerides, however, only the flush variety works and I hate that flush. I recently began supplementing with Life Extension Sea Iodine at 1,000 micro grams and have noticed that if I take the niacin within a few hours after the iodine I will not get a flush of any kind. Has anyone else noticed this? RO
Guest guest
Hello RO, That is a teeny tiny bit of iodine. Any reason you are taking such a small amount? As far as the niacin is concerned, the flush even though it may be annoying, is very important! The flush is an indication that the niacin is doing it's job. Best, Kathleen moderator Iodine and Niacin I like to take niacin to raise HDL and lower LDL and triglycerides, however, only the flush variety works and I hate that flush.
