Does Iodine help dry eyes?

Has anyone had dry eyes develop more tear production as a result of taking

iodine? I don't mean as a detox symptom -- more as a permanent fix?

I have read that the lacrimal glands have a high percentange of iodine in them.

I am hoping my dry eyes will improve with iodine.

My dry eye issue has improved over the couple of years I have been taking

iodine, yes. I

also had to use lubricating eyedrops for a while, but I rarely have to anymore.

Oh, I hope this happens to me. I've been dealing with dry burning eyes for

years now. I home this iodine helps.
