Guest guest
Hi Letmar,I use www.healthcheckusa.com for my labs. I get the Thyroid Panel II which includes TSH, Free T3, and Free T4. I pay $85 whereas my doctor's office charges $240 for the same tests. in AlaskaOn Mon, Feb 13, 2012 at 6:50 AM, letmar123 <letmar123@...> wrote: I have been using iodine for 3 months for a cyst in the ovary. I am pleased so far with the iodine protocol but I want to go one step further and check my thyroid. Many years ago I asked my Dr to check my hormones and he said everything came back normal. I suspect he did the incomplete testing. I have a history of cysts in the breast and utero and have experienced hair-loss for many years now. This seems to lessen with the iodine protocol. I have a tendency to be cold all times and before starting the iodine I was really fatigued and started taking naps even in the car. I have regain most of my energy with the iodine but I continue to be cold especially in the mornings. I would like to test my thyroid. I checked the files and see there are several companies I can order the tests online. 1. Anybody knows specifically which tests I need to order? I am not sure what I am looking for .... 2. Anybody has ordered them online and can suggest a company? Of course I need to pay these tests on my own, I am not sure my insurance would cover them and I am not sure my Dr. would understand what I want anyway, I don't want to order unnecessary tests.... Guest guest
I had the same symptoms with hair loss and fatigue but also was undergoing many high stress issues in my life. I would have such severe fatigue where I would get to work and barely get myself through the day even after starting Iodoral. It was after addressing my adrenals with an adrenal glandular product (I use Adrenergize at vitacost.com as recommended by my brother who is a naturopath) that I noticed a huge improvement. I also take coconut oil capsules and biotin (one of the Vit B supplements) for the hair. Also, don't forget to always take B complex if taking any B vitamins....since there needs to be a synergy among the B vitamins. Guest guest
At a minimum, you want Free T4 and Free T3, but there are other tests that can be beneficial as well. I recommend the thyroid group for more info. NaturalThyroidHormones/ in NS, Canada At 11:50 AM 13/02/12, you wrote: >I have been using iodine for 3 months for a cyst in the ovary. Guest guest
I see there are two kinds of Adrenergize, the herbal or the animal (liver, pancreas, etc) formula from Enzymathic Therapy. Which one has worked for you?
